This summer I went out to a local park to shoot two students that wanted to get some glamorous friend shots. It was a hot day and we got some excellent shots in the noon sun! In order to counter the bright sun I used my flashes at their highest settings. You can see the simple setup in the picture below. The Aurora soft box helps get a nice soft light on their faces, and the other flashes are used for fill and backlight. Shot on Canon 5DMK3.
More fun with the theatre department at TWU! Despite the pic, it had some incredibly emotional parts, and of course hilarious ones too!
Had an awesome photo shoot with Brendan and Leah. Brendan was one of my first guitar students, and took my recording course as an adult as well! This was at Crescent Beach, one flash in a soft-box right in front of them. Can't wait to shoot their wedding in December!
Lots of family activities, going on: dance recitals, swimming lessons, July 1 and 4 celebrations, walks in the park, and looking forward to the puppy! It started off cold, but we're finally into some warm weather now!

So, we're getting a new puppy! We've been hanging out with Bruce, Natasha and their litter of 12 puppies over the last 2 weeks, and we have chosen our newest little baby. The Gibbons clan gets bigger! (and crazier) Many more photos/ videos to come...
