Yet another late night shoot at the U with some of my favourite students! This one involved 5 student directed plays, all extremely well done. It was a long night, but I could keep shooting until the dawn. Fortunately for the students Angela knows when to call it!
This post is for my old student Iain!
I took notes while Lindsay Adler was on Creative Live, and tried out my own texture wrap, click below the to see the steps!
Here is the latest Gibbons family video! Shot on my old Canon 60D, using a bunch of lenses. The super wide shallow depth was the Sigma 20mm 1.8, which gave a great "infant-eye" perspective of the world.
I used one light in a softbox to light the house for almost all interior scenes. I have a small slider for the movement shots, and a small jib that I bought off craigslist for the crane shots.
The music is original, and I'm using Vienna Symphonic Library as well as a lot of Omnisphere and Kontakt instruments. The sound was captured with an on camera Rode video mic.
I hope you enjoy it!
Had yet another amazing shoot at TWU on Friday, always a blast with these guys! This was for the coming New Generations plays at TWU. Check it out!
I spent the Fall filming on campus for Trinity's ESLI school. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work! I had a great experience with all of the students I filmed, and was reminded that TWU is a really great school! I did the whole project myself with a little help from Al Toms, and my wife.
