Just got back from an amazing trip to Japan, doing sound work for future Grapeseed ESL Curriculum. The week was awesome, the shoot went really well. I made all sorts of new friends and learned a bunch of new Japanese phrases from my Sensei Miyabe-san!
John and Jessica Musumeci were directing the shoot and did an amazing job with the kids from Calgary. Got to hang out at a bunch of great restaurants in Sendai, and got to go up the Buddha with Josh Friesen (my work partner in crime). The acoustics had us both weak in the knees, standing there harmonizing like a bunch of music-geeks for quite a while.
