Just wanted to drop a post about the amazing things done at creativeLIVE. If you haven't heard of these guys, you have to check them out!
I was first introduced a year and a half ago when I entered a contest to be at a 3 day workshop with Vincent Laforet, a filmmaker that I had been following for several years. A week later I was chosen as one of the 6 audience participants! It was a momentous occasion for me, and hanging with Vincent for 3 days as well as the other amazing guys on set was incredible. The staff at cL were awesome too, and I've kept in touch with them since then.
After attending, I got a bunch of the workshops and learned from amazing photogs like Jeremy Cowart, Chase Jarvis, Zack Arias, David DuChemin, and Jasmine Star. These people all have charisma, talent, and a desire to share their knowledge with the rest of the world.
I'm typing this as I'm listening to Tamara Lackey, who is live right now. The thing about cL is that they broadcast the workshops for free, and then charge the low price of $99-$149 for 2 or 3 days of training with these amazing artists!
